ABOUT

Focused on marine biology, MBA’s mission is to understand and disseminate the causes and consequences of environmental change in the ocean through research and discovery. MBA provides expert knowledge, credibility and academic legitimacy and always ensures it gives evidence, data and advice that is honest, clear and non-biased.

ROLE IN PROJECT

MBA are contributing to Data Management Plan (WP1); development and validation of environmental DNA (eDNA)-based approaches to observing marine biodiversity, comparing traditional and eDNA-based biodiversity observations (WP2); contributing to production and validation of eDNA-based plankton indicators for policy (WP5); coordinating co-design workshops with NGO stakeholders to facilitate uptake of project outcomes (WP6) and contributing to roadmap and final coordinated reporting as part of WP7.
